and Web Hosting Companies. Here you can make a profit and manage your names
and name servers with easy web access. You can even designate subordinates to
manage one or all aspects of the name.
Q. How much can I make?
A. Typical retail pricing for domains (the registration
fee) is $25 to $35 per year. Many registrars charge fees above that for fast
service and parking. Network Solutions gets up to $110 for 2 years. Set your
price and make the difference. If you charge only $25 and register 300
names a year, you will earn $3000 per year, and even more if you get them as
hosting clients too. Keep it up for ten years, and your annual income at the end
of that time will be $30,000 for very little work. Retire at this level if you
want, or hustle twice the business, and make it sixty grand!
Q. What does it cost, wholesale?
A. $15 per domain year. This is our entire fee once
you are a member. No extras. No charges to register. No Surprises.
Firms like Registrars.com and Network Solutions
don't start offering this kind of rate until you are registering thousands of
domains at a time.
Q. Do I have to register for 2 years like Network Solutions?
A. No. You can pay the fee in one to ten year increments.
Q. How much does it cost to transfer a domain?
A. A one time administrative fee of $15. This currently is
a manual process, but if enough interest is shown we will automate it.
Q. How do I sign up?
A. Use the sign-up form provided, and
e-mail it in or print it off and fax it to: 816-252-5545. Most new accounts are
processed within 24 hours of receipt. There is a one time $250 set-up charge,
which is waived if you purchase 60 domain year credits or more. This
covers your telephone training and expedites your ability to take orders.
Q Is training required?
A. Any good system includes some basic training to insure
that it is used well. It is in your best interest to have us run you down on how
the system works.
Q. How are payments managed?
A. Our fee is so low because this is a pre-paid service.
You buy credits equal to $15 per domain year. Purchases can be made in $300
increments on your credit card, or by check. Funds must be on deposit before you

Q. Do I have to buy 20 domain years of credits?
A. Yes. This is a wholesale solution. Any ISP or hosting
company will go through this much credit in a couple of months. It makes it
clear that you are in the business. ISP Names is designed for the trade.
Q. What about retail? Can you register a name for me that
way?
A. HomeISP ™ will be happy to register a name
for you, at retail, for $25 per domain year for any term you like up to ten
years, and charge it to your credit card at the time of the transaction.
However, ISP Names is reserved for the trade.
Q. Can you do my name servers for me?
A. HomeISP ™ offers DNS service for non-hosted domains for
$50 per year. This includes set-up and redundant feeds to the net, so you are
always going to be found. However, most ISP's do not charge for DNS service if
you host with them. For instance, if you get connectivity with us, the fee drops
to $10 per year, per domain set-up.
Q. Do I have to have my DNS set at my hosting company? What
if I want to make a change?
A. Many firms set their DNS up at a different location.
That way changes are fast and there is never any bad blood if you find the need
to suddenly switch hosting companies. Contact us if DNS is an issue for you.
Q. What are your tech support policies?
A. Daytime tech support from 10AM to 6 PM weekdays is free.
24 hour support is available for an annual fee of $250 paid in advance. In 24/7
cases we give you a special number to call. However, we also give you the tools
to do most of your own support. Name server changes, for instance, take only a
few minutes and are online shortly thereafter.
Q. Do I have to type my information in each time?
A. No. You can recall the information on any of your prior
registrations with us and use it again and again. The first name you register
with us is used as a template and can be retrieved at any time.
Q. Do I have to make changes one at a time if I want to
change, say 50 domains?
A. No. As long as the domains are using the same login and
password, you can change one or all of them with just a few clicks of the
selection boxes. Remember, this site was designed by an ISP who was sick and
tired of the way everyone else did it. It is fast and it is easy!
Q. Are you ever going to pursue my clients?
A. Absolutely Not! Your clients are yours. You don't even
have to tell them how you are acting as the domain registrar. You will notice
that the domain management pages are not even branded, so feel free to link them
off your pages. And, you have our pledge that we will not contact them about
off-topic offers. We will only communicate domain registration issues, as
appropriate, to service you and your client. You, however, may be interested in
